Here's a simple countdown clock I made for an exercise in javascript and CSS - it's a lot simpler than some examples out there. Why that particular date? It's a date I really ought not to forget (again).

Look, it's nasty old Flash - unless you're on one of the many devices that don't support it in which case you may just see an image of a man sat at his desk - or maybe just any empty box that makes it look like the page's gone wrong somewhere - Woah! This is an ad I did very recently after having not used Flash for a while so apologies for still using old fashioned tweens. It was a quick job.

This is me on holiday over Easter. Yes, I did have a nice time, thank you.

Micro Blog

Google+ update (12/04/12) - Why is everything grey? It makes comments look like you've already read them and then greyed out icons traditionally mean they are unavailable. I thought "mystery meat" navigation went out in the late 90s. Absolutely no concession to accessibility. And the "trending" - oh cool, "Microsoft", "Instagram", "Jennifer Lopez" and "New Google+" - I can't wait to throw my two cents worth in on those hot topics (although admittedly I am going on about New Google+).

I LIKE Google+, I feel happy (well, happier) there. On Facebook I feel a combination of being helplessly exposed and at the same time an unwitting stalker. I also feel far too close to the howling Lol Shaft that belches gurning mirth and boiling madness and I really don't want to be caught out still being on their when it soon reaches the MySpace tipping point. I don't go there very often.

Google+ seems to lend itself well to holding conversation and my "circle" of friends have found it a welcome platform for us to share and generally socialise. For that reason I do object to this pervasive and persistent attempt to inject into my "experience" all this outside trending... stream of unconscious LOL.

This is a mix I did of wheezy ambience and 70s school's film soundtrack styling. Mmmmm, nice.

There are some examples of various banner ads I have worked on to be found by clicking here.

There's an unordered directory of screenshots of projects such as interface design, logos, websites and general design here.
